Winemaker’s Summer Dinner
Sip wine and break bread with our Wine Maker, Stephen DesRochers. Stephen will discuss the wines being paired with each course along with insights on the upcoming harvest season which will just be getting underway!
This Summer dinner will highlight our versatile Vignoles wines: Vignoles (aka sunshine in a bottle and a prestigious Jefferson Cup winner), Reserve Vignoles (complex and sur-lie aged), and Late Harvest Vignoles (compared to the great Sauternes of France and a Best of Class winner).
TIME: Check-in begins at 6:30 p.m. and Dinner is at 7:00
LOCATION: Vintage 1847 Restaurant private dining room
WHAT: Please join our wine maker for a 3-Course wine paired dinner sourced from local producers and prepared by our Vintage Restaurant Chef.
TICKETS: Reservations are required as seating is limited. All ticket sales are final.
COST: $80 per person, all-inclusive.
First Course
Farmers market baby spinach, sliced strawberries, caramelized Missouri pecans, tossed with a light Vignoles vinaigrette.
Paired with Vignoles – aka “sunshine in a bottle” and a prestigious Jefferson Cup winner and gold medal winner
Second Course
Rockbridge Trout Farm Rainbow Trout with wild locally foraged Chanterelle mushrooms, pine nut, and sage wine sauce on bed of Missouri jasmine rice with farmer’s market zucchini, yellow squash, and tomato bake.
Paired with Reserve Vignoles – dry, complex and sur-lie aged
Third Course
House-made New York style cheesecake with graham cracker crust, grilled Missouri peaches and peach sauce.
Paired with Late Harvest Vignoles – compared to the great Sauternes of France and a Best of Class winner

We recommend starting your evening before the dinner, stopping by the deck at our Sherry House “Sunset” event for free live music beginning at 5p.m.! No reservations required for our Sunset event in the Sherry House!
