Winemaker’s Summer Dinner

Sip wine and break bread with our Head Winemaker, Stephen DesRochers, at our 2nd Annual Winemaker’s Summer Dinner. Enjoy a 3-course wine paired dinner prepared by our Vintage 1847 Restaurant Chef. In addition, be one of the first to taste our not-yet-released single vineyard Kemperberg Reserve Norton and have the opportunity to purchase this exclusive wine! The evening will include DesRochers’s thoughts on the selected wines and their pairings, along with his expectations for the 2026 harvest, which will just be getting underway.

This summer dinner will highlight three of our award-winning wines: 2024 Traminette, 2023 Kemperberg Norton, and 2019 Port.

DATE: Friday, August 14, 2026 – Hermann, MO

TIME: Check-in begins at 6:45 p.m. and Dinner is at 7:00

LOCATION: Vintage 1847 Restaurant Carriage Room

TICKETS: Reservations are required as seating is very limited. All ticket sales are final.

COST: $80 per person plus tax

First Course: Watermelon and cucumber with basil and house-made German quark cheese and balsamic vinaigrette

Paired with 2024 Traminette

Second Course: Braised short ribs with red wine sauce blue cheese grits and crispy parmesan roasted brussel sprouts

Paired with 2023 Kemperberg Norton
