Job Information

The Vintage 1847 Restaurant at Stone Hill Winery seeks a full time Front of House Manager who is customer and team oriented. This is a hands-on, active working role. Responsibilities to include:
  • Creating an exceptional experience for your guests, to delight and exceed expectations from start to finish, building return visits and a consistent positive reputation.
  • Ensuring highest standards of overall operation, coordination, appearance, and maintenance of the dining room.
  • Taking ownership with constant attention to detail, establishing all duties and assuring roles are met.
  • Building and promoting a team environment with all members of staff.
More specifically: Staff management: Recruit, hire, train, mentor, lead by example, the FOH staff. Organize and communicate weekly work schedules and manage labor costs. Guest Experience: Oversee all guest interactions, ensure highest standards of customer service and promptly address any concerns to ensure a positive outcome. Operations and Coordination: Coordinate daily FOH and BOH as well as Event staff operations to ensure seamless service (including expo during busy shifts). Oversee opening/closing duties and cash handling procedures. Compliance: Ensure rigorous compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations Inventory and Financials: Assist with managing inventory and ordering supplies, while adhering to set costs and budgets. Required skills and qualifications: Experience: Proven work experience in a customer service or leadership role (hospitality industry preferred). Leadership: Strong leadership, motivational, and people management skills. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with guests, staff, and vendors. Problem solving: The ability to handle fast-paced, high stress situations with professionalism and find effective solutions. Technical skills: Proficiency with restaurant management software, Point of Sale (POS) systems, and basic computer literacy. Adaptability: Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Benefits include:

  • Sunday: 11:30am - 4:00pm
  • Monday: 11:30am - 8:00pm
  • Tues & Wed: CLOSED
  • Thursday: 11:30am - 8:00pm
  • Friday: 11:30am - 8:00pm
  • Saturday: 11:30am - 8:00pm
