Stone Hill WurstfestA citywide celebration of the traditional art of German sausage making sponsored by the Hermann Chamber of Commerce. Sausage competitions, sausage samples and a large array of sausage for sale.

One of Hermann’s best-loved festivals, as well as a prestigious showcase for sausage makers from around the state.  Freshly grilled brats and other foods will be for sample and sale in our Sherry House.

Question:  What is the cost of admission?
Answer:  The admission fee is $10 per day and can be purchased at each location.

Question: Can I secure a booth if I sell non-meat related items?
Answer:  All the booths at the Wurstfest are secured by professional sausage venders who have 1st rights to the limited spaces that are available.

Question:  Do I pay the admittance fee at each location; Stone Hill Winery Sherry House & Wurst on Market?
Answer:  The admittance fee gets you into all locations, so you pay only once.

Question: How many sausage samples are there?
Answer: The number varies but generally each sausage vender will have sample-taste-testing of no more than 25.

Question:  Should I bring a cooler for my wurst purchases?
Answer:  Absolutely, that is highly recommended for your wurst and wine purchases.

Question:  Do I make wurst purchases at the time of sampling?
Answer:  Yes, we recommend purchasing as you sample from the various wurst venders.  Enjoy!

Question:  Where and when is the Weiner Dog Derby?
Answer:  This takes place on Sunday at the city park at approximately 1:00pm.
