Working to Make a Better Missouri

The Held Family and Stone Hill team is dedicated to more than just making award-winning wines ~ they’re committed to making a better Missouri.

Stone Hill’s champion cause since 1988 has been the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) Gateway Chapter.  The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research.  The winery has hosted numerous fundraisers and events raising hundreds of thousands of dollars.  For over 30 years the annual Stone Hill Beast Feast, which includes a wild game dinner, a silent and live auction, has contributed 100% of its proceeds to benefit the LLS Gateway Chapter.

Recently, Stone Hill Winery has partnered with the Saint Louis Zoo to raise awareness and funds to help conserve the endangered hellbender. Proceeds from every bottle of Stone Hill’s Ozark Hellbender red wine sold assist supporting the zoo’s Hellbender Conservation Center.

The Held family is also deeply involved in the Hermann, MO and Missouri state communities, both personally and through Stone Hill Winery.  By serving as committee members, financial contributions or various other types of involvement, Stone Hill proudly supports the following groups:
