Perform all routine maintenance on tractors, trucks, skid steer loaders, sprayers, mowers and other farm equipment. Prepare and setup equipment for seasonal vineyard workflow. Work with vineyard team to have equipment ready and at proper vineyard site. Communicate equipment service schedules to equipment operators. Loading, securing and transporting equipment to various vineyards sites. Prioritize workflow to meet seasonal equipment demands. Maintain a reasonable inventory of maintenance supplies and parts. Maintain a written record of all maintenance. Work with vendors to obtain parts and to schedule major equipment repairs.
Diagnostic and repair of diesel engines, 12 volt electrical systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems and small engines. Skilled in the use of common metal fabrication equipment including torch, cut-off saw, stick welder and MIG welder. Ability to accurately calibrate sprayers and fertilizer application equipment. Good verbal and written communication skills. Basic math skills required for equipment calibrations and inventory control. Ability to juggle projects to address equipment breakdowns and production deadlines. Class A CDL.
