DESCRIPTION:\n~FUNDRAISER for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS)~\nStone Hill Winery Presents the 34th Annual Great Stone Hill Beast Feast – Wild Game Dinner and Auction FUNDRAISER\nStone Hill Winery was established in 1847 and and as we celebrate the winery’s 175th anniversary, the theme for this year’s Beast Feast is stepping back to the time when the winery began.  The evening will take you to a festive and nostalgic Christmas in 1847.  Join Stone Hill Winery on Friday December 9, 2022 for a night of silent and live auctions, raffles, wild game Christmas dinner and help support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society-Gateway Chapter.\nThis event was created in honor of James Richard Held, son of Stone Hill Winery owner, Jon Held.  James passed away in 1988 at the age of 5 after a heroic battle with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL).  When James was diagnosed the five-year survival rate was only 25% and the Held family became committed to helping LLS find a cure for this disease.  The commitment only deepened when Jim Held, patriarch of Stone Hill Winery was diagnosed with CMML, a rare, chronic leukemia that strikes older adults.  Jim passed in November of 2019.\nStone Hill Winery Aims Higher\nStone Hill Winery’s efforts to help LLS find a cure, with a goal of raising $50,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  If you are interested in making an In-Kind Donation or to become a Sponsor, please contact Brittany Eyestone for more details.
