Port Fact Sheet

2005 PORT

BLEND INFORMATION: In the great tradition of Portugal, Stone Hill has produced vintage-style Port throughout its history. The finest Norton grapes from a single vintage are blended and oak aged in both small American and French oak barrels for one year, then bottle-aged to produce a rich, dark dessert wine. 680 cases produced.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION: Harvested early-October 2005; Alcohol - 18.3%; Residual Sugar - 8.5%

TASTING INFORMATION: A dense, rich Port with stunningly powerful blackberry and cassis flavors. Enjoy it now or let it age in the bottle for a few years. Great served with nuts and flavorful cheeses such as Stilton after dinner or by the fireside. Highly revered, this award-winning Port is available in very limited quantities. Suggested retail price: $19.99 (500 ml)

History: After Prohibition, Stone Hill produced its first vintage of Port in 1990. Our 1992 Port was named one of Bon Appetit's top 10 wines of the month in their August 1995 issue.
