Chocolate Wine Trail 2008

DATE: February 16 & 17, 2008

TIME: Wine & Chocolate Food Pairing at Stone Hill and all other wineries: Saturday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

WHAT: Travel to seven local wineries tasting chocoate or chocolate creations paired with wine. Visit any or all wineries, and you are entered in a drawing for a gift basket.
 
WHERE: Seven local wineries: Stone Hill Winery, Adam Puchta Winery, Bias Winery, Bommarito Estate Winery, Hermannhof Winery, OakGlenn Winery and Röbller Winery. Maps are available at the Hermann Welcome Center and at each participating winery. (Chocolate and wine pairings at Stone Hill in Founders Room, Tasting Room #2.)

TICKETS: $25 per person. Souvenir "Hermann Wine Trail" glass included in ticket price. Limited number of advance tickets. Only 800 weekend tickets and 400 Sunday-only tickets. Available online through the Hermann Wecome Center at www.hermannmo.info. Tickets sell out early, so buy soon!

STONE HILL WINERY FEATURE: Nuts for Truffles: A dark chocolate raspberry truffle and a salted pecan garnished with raspberry sauce and cocoa, paired with Port.

Adam Puchta Winery: Bissingers Chocolate Indulgences, paired with Signature Port and Jazz-Berry.
Bommarito Estate Winery: Raspberry Chocolate Torte, paired with Almond Tree Blush.
Bias Winery: Chilly Chocolatey Sub-Zero Souffles, paired with Victorian Red.
Hermannhof Winery: White Chocolate Bread Pudding, paired with Traminette.
OakGlenn Winery: Double Chocolate Cherry Muffins, paired with Red Port.
Röbller Winery: Chocolate Waffles with Fruit Sauce, paired with Vidal Blanc.

WINERY TOURS: Tours are on the hour and half hour. Adults = $2.50. Ages 6-12 = $1.00. Preschool = Free. Saturday: Last tour at 5:30 p.m. Sunday: Last tour at 5 p.m.
